In 2023, cousins Maria and Alex Gozalo decided to team-up to found Colima.

Inspired by vintage treasures from their mothers’ & grandmothers’ closets, Colima designs exclusive dresses, with fluid falls of dreamy silks, asymmetrical and groovy. Created with pure fabrics by local artisans, and hand painted with the greatest love and delicacy for women who want to feel unique and empowered.

Colima is the name of a small state in Mexico, near the Pacific coast, and it now gives its name to this project. Colima is a mermaid of the seas and nymph of the forests, a pure tribute to the colors and shapes of nature.

Colima is handmade in Spain and responsible. We are a slow fashion brand, and we value long-lasting pieces that resist passing trends.
